My new roommate

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything. I know I'm bad at this but I just turned 44 so it takes time for me to catch up. I can use this as a time to say I've still been doing the magic our way podcast. If you haven't heard of this podcast, you should check it out because we are always trying something new and it's a lot of work. I've met a lot of interesting listeners and gained new readers. I'm always grateful for a chance to talk creativity and all in betweens.

These are the things that help to fuel an artists among the time of riding in the metal coffin on the way to a job that takes away from creativity but needed for survival. It's tough to be a cog in the machine for over a decade...but I've been working to change that. Everything seems like a constant cycle of pushing forward and reflecting on the possible limitations of what can be done. Needless to say, I have no clue what those limitations are because there are different facets of life I look into but keep trying to improve on. While working on the podcast, I learned that creativity is contagious as well as the passion to pursue it. One of our listeners came up with a character while I was marketing the Ivorycomics website. He came up with a character named Mowikee, an unofficial mascot of the magic our way podcast. Sure he says I don't feed him...but I did find some cheddar biscuits to keep the imagination going. So, I figure I needed to do an artist representation of this new character. You never know where in the ivorycomics universe where a character will pop up.
